Our lives are a constant struggle. A balancing act between work (in some cases, works) relationships, managing to take care of our bodies and minds, and carve out a little time for leisure activities. Travel is something that we can all agree is important and fun. But in this generation where we have so many competing priorities, how do we afford to see all the places before we’ve lost the opportunity?

I was so fortunate to grow up in a family where we were taught to value experiences as much (and sometimes more) than possessions. This isn’t to say one is better, but having an appreciation for seeing all the places and people of this world has lead me to become some what of a not at all expert on matters of millennial travel. I currently work two jobs, one in the manufacturing arm of a very large coffee company, and the other acting as both kitchen and front staff of a restaurant that boasts 10 whole employees. Finding time to see the world gets to be tough, especially when you add that I have a husband who also works a nontraditional schedule. I know a lot of people who share similar experiences and a desire to see and experience all the wonder and beauty that travel brings, so here I am, traveling the world, and sharing the hows and wheres and anything else that pops into my head along the way.
